Basics : Guaifenesin is a simple med that loosens secretions so they are easier to cough out. It has no overlap & does not interfere directly with the action of the Zyrtec. Take both if you desire or one or neither if/when they seem to help. Neither would be expected to lead to pink eye circles..but allergies might.
