Laying down?: Have you recently had a spinal tap for any reason? Sounds like a post-spinal or at least a postural headache.

Did you have a: spinal tap recently? Do you have sinus problems? You need to this looked into. Positional headaches that worsen with standing may be due to low cerebral spinal fluid pressure or blockage of mucus flow in the para nasal and deep facial sinuses. Occasionally problems with the upper part of the neck or base of the skull can do this. Sometimes this occurs with "volume contraction" from dehydration.
