Can irinotecan kill a single liver met and aortocaval node in a person with colon cancer ?

Yes it is possible: Single chemo drugs rarely eradicate cancer altogether. So it is best to combine it with a biologic agent like Avastin (bevacizumab) or Vectibix(or Erbitux) unless these have been used up already. Your oncologist can address these issues if you ask.
