Yes.: The rast (radioallergosorbent test) detects the presence of ige antibodies to a specific allergen. A score taken from the rast test is compared to predictive values, and if it is higher, the patient has a >95% chance of an allergic reaction to that allergen. This can test many allergens at one time. Values are available for the following foods: milk, egg, peanut, fish, soy, and wheat.

Yes but not reliable: Food allergy blood tests are not always reliable. Your test may show you're allergic to a food that you know you can eat without any problems. Or you know you can't eat a food but your blood test may be negative. Keep a good food/allergy diary. Then review your story with your doc about the kind of testing that makes the most sense for you.
