A member asked:

Would the er hosp.be able to detect hep a b or c in my blood when. they took my blood if they didn't do hep tests?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Only if test ordered: There are thousands of blood tests available. The doctor has to request the tests for detecting Hep A, B, or C in order for the lab to do those specific tests. If needed, the tests are available everywhere in the U.S., so one can just ask her primary care doctor.
