Hey man!: They're pretty reliable but not perfect. Since you sound like you're really worried, get with your personal physician and get one of these super-accurate blood tests. You're only 18 and this is rough on you. I hope you turn out not to be infected. I also hope that whatever the outcome, you'll cherish having shared love, and be a wiser, better, and more careful lover in the future.
