Hey man!: They're pretty reliable but not perfect. Since you sound like you're really worried, get with your personal physician and get one of these super-accurate blood tests. You're only 18 and this is rough on you. I hope you turn out not to be infected. I took a oraquick at home HIV test that you buy from drugstore 6 years after possible exposure. Is that too long after to take it? I did two of them to be extra sure, if that matters. Both negative.
Would an Oraquick home test tell me if I have aids or hiv? The incident would have been years ago and I had a neg result test last year at home.
