Diarrhea: Diarrhea is the condition of having at least three loose or liquid bowel movements each day. There are many causes for looses tools and if this is ongoing for you, you need to see the Dr. preferably a GI Doctor for an evaluation of the possible causes and then the right treatment can occur. Best wishes.

You're not abnormal: Irregularity is common & does not necessarily signal abnormality. Average stool pattern in america fits a bell-curve, ranging from 3 movements daily to one every 3-4 days. Try adding fiber (fruits, vegetables, whole grains) or commercial water soluble supplements to "regulate" stools. Raise concern if bleeding, weight loss, localizing abdominal pain or a personal/family history of colitis, cancer.
