No. : Tamsulosin, also known under the name flomax, (tamsulosin) is a drug designed to relax smooth muscle cells of the urinary tract. It acts by blocking receptors on the muscle called alpha-1a adrenergic receptors. Its approved use is to enhance urination in prostate enlargement. It is sometimes used to help pass kidney stones. It does not treat or effect bacterial vaginosis.
