Hives: You are likely experiencing urticaria - or hives. Sometimes, people will get hives due to an allergy, but sometimes it is due to something more physical - hot or cold water, pressure, vibration, stress, etc. They classically come and nothing *needs* to happen, but you could try taking a loratadine or other anti-histamine 30" prior to showering to see if that helps reduce symptoms.
