Pregnancy: Anytime you have unprotected intercourse you could be pregnant. There are many signs and symptoms of pregnancy but none of them are consistent or sure indicators of pregnancy. If you have missed a period then check a pregnancy test at home or in your doctors office. This is the only way to know for sure if you are pregnant. Retake your test 4-5 days after you miss your period
