My doctor says that I have a chipped bone on my toe.How long should it take to heal?

Dr. Bradly Shollenberger
35 years experience in Podiatry
Hard to say: Bone healing typically takes 6-8 weeks for the first 75% and up to a year for the remainder. However, this depends on several factors including the location of the fracture, it's stability, your health and nutrition, etc. Your best bet is to see a doctor who is experienced in fracture care and listen to to their advice.
