What is the 24 hour flu?

Good question!: THERE IS NO SUCH THING as the "infamous" 24 Hour Flu (Used to be called 24 hour "grip" due to muscle pain which accompanied it) Probably arose because the WORSE symptoms are usually in the first day or two! The term also was mistaken for FOOD POISONING which generally produces symptoms which are worse in the first 24 hours! Hope this helps Dr Z
