Uncertain.: Both Bisoprolol and Propranolol are beta blockers, so it appears that two beta blockers are currently being used. It would be prudent to address this issue with a cardiologist who could take a good history, perform a careful physical exam, check ECG, blood tests and decide. If one is given a trial off beta blockers, a 24 Hr Holter test could be done 1 week later to assess ones cardiac rhythm.
