Not likely herpes: hello : a herpes infection is unlikely to last 2 months. we would have to look at other causes of this problem. psoriasis, contact dermatitis from soaps, and lubricants used during sexual activity. a rash on the scalp. for example, or the knees and elbows would make this more likely psoriasis. the causes of a rash in this area of the body are usually complex and require patience.
