Cortisol test: It would be best to have the 24 hour urine without the drugs for one day but before you do that you must check with your doctor. It is not very likely that the meds will interfere with the lab but why take the chance before discussing with your doctor.

23 y.o F unable to take OCP or Aldactone for hirsutism, is Finasteride an option? And if so, should I see a endocrinologist or my PCP regarding this?
Is finasteride a good choice for PCOS, especially for severe cystic acne? I truly don't tolerate spironolactone nor the pill. Weight loss didn't help.
