Is It Seasonal?: If it is only in winter, it may be from dry air. Try using a humidifier at night and NaSal or a Netti Pot to irrigate and moisturize the nasal passages. If there is colored discharge, fever, or other symptoms, or it is year-round, talk to you physician about allergy testing.

Exam: Get a good nasal exam from any doctor willing to actually put a speculum or scope in the nose and look inside the nostrils before reaching for a prescription pad. That's actually a taller order than you think.
