Another opinion: It would be nearly impossible to diagnose this over this forum, however, if you are that unsure of the ER doctor's diagnosis and whatever they told you to do for treatment of it is not working, I would highly suggest you seek the opinion of your primary care doctor to see if they have another opinion that better fits and may be able to better treat the condition.
