Follow up...: You don't mention what they prescribed.It is also common to get fungal infections in that area which could also be a possibility.You may try anti fungal creams (like Lotrimin) and see how it responds if you have not done better with what was prescribed by the ED provider. If worse or not better make sure you see your doctor for further recommendations and referral to a specialists as needed.
