Don't know: I went to their website and can't really determine what is in it. I would recommend that you not continue with this medication. Try weight watchers and exercise instead.

Likely minimal: The drops which are sold at health food stores are probably a scam with no real active ingredients capable of being absorbed orally. The injections use a tiny dose compared to what is used by specialists to help couples conceive, and is dwarfed by the amount the pregnancy will soon produce. There are no studies, but i suspect the effects would be negligible. If you conceive, the diet is over!

Yes: Breast fed babies can be sensitive to gas producing foods in mom's diet. These include foods like peppers, cabage, caffeine, chocolate, onions and tomato among others.

Can I drink diet drinks while pregnant?

Yes: Water is probably the best diet drink you can drink during pregnancy. Soft drinks, whether diet or not, are usually not the best drinks in pregnancy. I would suggest healthier drinks, such as juices, milk, electrolyte drinks such as gatorade or powerade rather than purely synthetic drinks. I would stay away from energy drinks.
A 35-year-old member asked:

Is there any food or drink that can raise hCG levels?

Dr. Stephen Berns

Not really: If you are referring to the recent "hcg diet", which involves using HCG as well as severe calorie restriction, i would recommend against it. Buying HCG is illegal, (http://www.Fda.Gov/forconsumers/consumerupdates/ucm281333.Htm) and extreme dieting can be very dangerous. It is possible to supplement HCG through consuming your own human placental tissue (placenta pills / placental encapsulation).

Depends!: Best to completely avoid all alcohol and extra carbs. Ask your doctor to send you to a GI specialist for your liver problems.

Weird: That is a weird thing. I think you should be checked out by your doctor.
