FoliculitisORherpes: It is not uncommon to get a pimple or several of them in the public area due to clogged hair follicles, especially if you shave that area. However, if you have a history of unprotected sex you are at risk for genital herpes, which can also cause a similar symptoms. Try warm compresses and ibuprofen. If your symptoms persist or worsen, seek medical attention asap. Take Care!
