I have what looks like a pimple on my pubic area. it was painful so i popped it. it still hurts though. should i be worried?

FoliculitisORherpes: It is not uncommon to get a pimple or several of them in the public area due to clogged hair follicles, especially if you shave that area. However, if you have a history of unprotected sex you are at risk for genital herpes, which can also cause a similar symptoms. Try warm compresses and ibuprofen.
