Acidity: I am assuming you are talking about stomach acidity. The stomach is normally acidic to help start the digestive process. Certainly high acid content foods will cause problems - including cola beverages, tomatoes. Smoking doesn't help either - Any of the over the counter meds - antacids(maalox) , H2 blockers (Zantac) or proton pump inhibitors (nexium)will help reduce stomach acid.
