Stabbing pain to the bottom left of my knee cap. it's most intense when bending it or going up stairs. helps when there's pressure on it. any thoughts?

Knee Pain: Pain in front of the knee is very common and is called Patella Femoral Pain Syndrome. Many times this can be treated conservatively with therapy, NSAIDS, and a cortisone injection. See an Orthopaedic surgeon for X-rays and an examination to make sure this is the correct diagnosis. Take care. Hope this helps. Joe Wilson.
