Chin implant: You should ask the material being used, if the implant is being fixed to none or placed in a pocket, and where the incision will be. Also check the cost as it is not usually covered by insurance.

Where the incision will be placed: also discuss with your surgeon, infection, nerve irritation [marginal mandibular nerve, mental nerve], bleeding, implant rejection, bone re-absorption by implant pressure as well as the number of implant procedures that your prospective surgeon has completed.
