If you are trying to quit and using the nicotine patches and gum will nicotine still show up in a mouth swab?

Yes: so, if you are being tested, you need to tell them that you are using nicotine replacement therapy. The patch is somewhat less likely to show up, depending on the sensitivity of the test they use. But if you use the oral products (gum, lozenges) it is likely to be positive.
