No one (unavailable): The lyme vaccine was taken off the market in february 2002 (after being introduced in 12/98) due to poor sales and controversy regarding its safety. There is research being done on new vaccines and a safe vaccine would be a good idea for many people who live in areas where lyme disease is common.

Not available: The lyme vaccine is no longer available in the United States. The previously approved lyme vaccine was found to have only limited effectiveness. Interestingly, despite this, the lyme vaccine IS available for pets. It is important to remember that, diagnosed in a timely fashion, Lyme disease can be cured by appropriate antibiotics. See your doctor if you are concerned about tick/Lyme exposure.
