Yes: Low risk. If mouth has candida that you are treating, the alcohol may fell burning.

Not recommended: You can drink alcohol while taking nystatin. However, in some cases it can result in a serious side effects: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, mood changes and vision problems.

15 weeks oral antibiotics + 4 weeks nasal mupirocin= 5 weeks of tongue thrush. Nystatin failed, troches failed and now Im 7 days into 14 days Diflucan with only about 30% improvement. Should it have cleared more with diflucan? No sugar/alcohol diet?
