Yes: There are chains of lymph nodes in the back of the neck on both sides, called posterior chain nodes. There are also anterior chain nodes. Nodes which can be felt may be associated with infection, irritation or sometimes oncologic reasons. Regardless, nodes should be brought to your physician's attention to be documented and measured. A followup visit is what I usually do in two weeks.
