A member asked:

In last week blood checkup platelets in low count, may i know which food to take to increase the platelets count in blood

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably none: Occasionally low plts will be part of a nutritional deficiency, usually iron deficiency, but it should be obvious with other findings like anemia and small red cells. Isolated low platelets with nothing else abnormal is not a deficiency that foods can correct. There are many causes of low platelets, infections, medications, immune diseases to name a few. Work with your doctor to address cause.
