You don't have to: wait. There is no contraindication for either medication and ONE drink of alcohol, if that is truly what you are talking about. However, larger amounts of alcohol impair the immune system and are not good for fighting infections. In addition, if you were treated for asthma, I would be concerned about smoking, and drinking and smoking seem to go together quite a bit. In moderation, no problem.
