I was on norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) 5/325 for back pain. i finished the meds. how long should i wait to safely consume alcoholic beverages?

40 hours: hydrocodone has 8 hour half life and 5 times the 1/2 life to clear your system. This also depends on whether or not you have liver disease which would prolong how long it hangs around and also whether norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) or alcohol will cause further problems. Also if taking some other drugs like ketoconazole the levels of the norco (hydrocodone and acetaminophen) could go higher and last longer.
