Not unusual: Some tenderness or discomfort at the operative sites is not unusual for a week or two after laparoscopic cholecystectomy. This should not prevent you from most daily activities. I usually advise people not to drive for about a week unless absolutely necessary, and of course not after taking pain medicine.
