My r foot and leg swell at night while sleeping. i have had an achilles repair on it. my l does not swell. why is my r swelling? it is better in day.

Commonest reason for: the swelling is the injury and surgery you had to your Rt ankle. Surgery on the foot/ankle does swell for a long time. The reason it swells towards the evening and night is from the fact you have probably been on it all day, then during the night it subsides. This can persist for several months, but will slowly improve by being less and less swollen. Keep elevated as much as possible, Good luck.
