Serious issue: Oligohydramnios is the name of low amniotic fluid. This is a serious issue at 31 weeks. Hopefully you have been given steroids to accelerate the fetal lung maturity. Discuss with your doctor the management plans. Typically after assuring fetal well being with a biophysical profile and nonstress IV hydration is attempted and the fluid is reassessed in 24-48 hours.
