Is it possible and safe to take the following combo (40 mg Prozac daily + Buspar (buspirone) 60 mg daily) permanently as an effective treatment for me for GAD ?

Talk to your doctor: before using this combo. Combining Buspar (buspirone) and Prozac can increase the risk of a rare but serious condition called serotonin syndrome. Buspar (buspirone) 60 mg is a max daily dose.
