Fish bone swallowed a week ago. having chest pain. x-ray done they see nothing cardiac issues ruled out. still throbbing pain in chest. nothing helps?

Barium study : If that was a plain X-ray fish bones may not be seen since fish bone is mainly cartilage. Therefore perhaps a barium swallow looking for a tear or CT to look for air outside the esophagus will provide more information. When all else fails a gastrointestinal physician and scope and endoscopy should be considered
