A member asked:

Can asthma symptoms and allergies produce a low grade fever together?my son has been complaining of chest discomfort even after using his inhaler.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Virus vs. allergy: Initially, both viruses and allergies can produce similar symptoms such as clear runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, slight cough, etc. However, fever is generally caused by infection and should not be attributed to allergies, asthma or teething.
