My doctor prescribed cronine 4% 2x/day after clomid (clomiphene).my insurance doesn't cover it, can i use that 1x/day & supplement with natural progesterone cream?

Please ask your doc?: Crinone (progesterone gel) is very expensive so most of my patients don't use it either. Please DO NOT modify your doctors prescription without talking with him/her (which may be difficult over the holidays but TRY.) I'd switch any patient to another progesterone if she asks, but would be very unhappy with "natural" progesterone, which is not progesterone and doesn't work. Good wishes, hope this helps you!
