Contact doc now: Any fever, bleeding or pain that is more than simple cramping should cause you to contact your doctor immediately. There is a very small risk that amniocentesis can cause a miscarriage (1/200-400 chance), infection or pre-term labor. Please call or go in NOW! Good luck!
