If proper drugs used: Integrative therapy may be effective if it includes appropriate medications shown to be effective in clinical trials. The likelihood of cure is not likely to be improved by other modalities in "integrative" therapy.

Nasopharyngeal: Nasopharyngeal is best addressed by traditional Western medicine, although integrative medicine can offer ways to compliment this and help boost the immune system as well as improve tolerance of surgical and chemotherapy.
