How long can you survive stage 4a nasopharyngeal cancer?

Specializes in Hematology and Oncology

Can still be cured: Treatment will require multidisciplinary approach- which will include medical oncologist, radiation oncologist , and perhaps surgical oncologist. 5 year survival depending on the low or high pretherapy ebv dna- is 66% and 54% respectively. See your medical team ( medical oncologist /radiation oncologist ) and discuss further with your mds in detail.
