Blunt trauma: If you hit your belly we recommend immediate evaluation due to the possibility of trauma to the placenta. The evaluation requires both monitoring your baby AND labs. Depending on your blood type you may also need rhogam. If you haven't done so already please go to your planned labor and delivery unit or contact your OB provider immediately.
