It can!: the abdomen is known as the great pretender. Many disorders have similar symptoms in the abdomen..some more ominous that others given even the best diagnosticians tremendous challenges but the short answer is yes it could be indigestion BUT what should not be missed is a heart problem. this is not likely in your case given your age unless strong family history of heart disease also in the equation
