Will anything happen to your eyes if you put in eyedrops that you don't need?

Depends: There are numerous medications that are in eyedrop form, so it's hard to say what you used. Only use medications that are prescribed to you. However, I cannot think of any eye medication that would cause harm with one use unless you put a steroid drop in with an active infection.
