Is it possible for the gest sac to measure a week larger early in the first trimester? could it be larger due to twins? how common are mistakes?

Early: ultrasounds in the hands of an experienced ultrasonographer are vet accurate. Doubt they would miss twins. They accurate within a week for dating the pregnancy.
