Within a year.: Firstly, Humatrope (human growth hormone) (generic, somatropin), or gh (growth hormone) should only be used for truly indicated diagnoses: pediatric pts with short stature and gh deficiency, certain genetic or endocrine diseases, adults with childhood onset gh deficiency or an adult form. It is an injectable and it's use should be monitored by experienced doc. If no increased height within a year, needs reevaluation.
