? allergy: Coughing could be from simple cold to allergy, asthma, reflux, croup, whooping cough and other conditions. Need more detailed history, if this has gone for more than few weeks see the doctor for a complete evaluation.Simple home treatment for cold would be drinking lots of fluid, use a cool mist humidifier, children older than 1 can have 1 tsp of honey with water or juice, do not expose to smoke.
