Vaccines: The aluminum salts are used to better provoke or stimulate the immune systems response to the antigens . It has been used in vaccines for over 80 yrs. Mercury (thimerosal) is only used in multi-use vials of flu vaccines. It is a preservative that prevents contamination and potential bacterial growth. It is found in only trace amounts (You get exposed to more mercury eating rice)
