A member asked:

Can any doc explain if vaccines contain enough mercury to cause autism?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Doesn't happen: Although the issue has been studied thoroughly over many years, research has never linked thimerosal with autism or any other condition. The issue comes up as a fear or theory, but no data exists to support the idea.Mercury was removed from childhood vaccines by the early 90's, but autism frequency has increased. Newer data points to genetic factors present at conception as a cause.
