Brain differences in: people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder include smaller nerve cells in the cerebellum, an area that plans, executes & remembers motor activities. Altered development of white matter, nerve fibers that transmit signals from one area of the grey matter to another & to lower brain centers, also impacts motor functions like dexterity, coordination, posture & gait. Much research on this is ongoing.
