Air sickness tips: Some things you can do to help reduce the risk of airsickness. Eat lightly that day and avoid alcohol. Tried to get a window seat, preferably near the wings where the plane is most stable. Focus on the horizon. Get cool air from the air vents. OTC medicines such as meclizine or dimenhydrinate work well for many people. There are prescription medicines if all of this fails. Good luck.
